In-Person Classes

BOOKING

You may now book classes 7 days in advance. This means you can book at the beginning of the week for the entire week. Book class on our "Book a Class" Website tab. The In-Person tab will show you all of our protocols. 

 

 

 

COVID SCREENING FORM

You will have to fill out a Covid screening form for EVERY class you book, and this must be completed within the 24 hours before a class start time (i.e. you may not fill out the form on Sunday for Friday's class). This is a safety precaution to protect everyone.

 

Note: the form shows us a time-stamped response time so we can check that it was completed in the day before/of class. If your form is not completed correctly, we may send you to the back of the line to complete as to not make others wait in the cold longer than necessary.

I. RULES

​FOR INDIVIDUALS:

  • 1 exercise mat required for STRENGTH CLASSES ONLY (i.e. Abs & Arms, Legs & Booty)

  • Masks are mandatory  before and after class. You may leave your mask on your exercise mat during Fitness Training. 

  • Maintain a 6 foot radius from other individuals at all times by staying in your assigned square

  • You have been limiting your close contact to other people within your household and following all Municipal, Provincial, and Federal guidelines related to Covid-19

SAFETY PROCEDURE FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDEES

  1. Book your spot online up to 7 days in advance of the event, including reading and agreeing to all waiver. 

  2. Fill out your screening form within 24 hours before class

  3. Arrive at the event 10-15min BEFORE the scheduled start time WITH A MASK and any other safety measures you wish to take.

  4. Check in with SHINE Health & Safety Admin & receive directions about which spot to go to comply with our physical distancing policy. If other people are speaking to instructors, please line up (physically distanced) and wait for your turn. 

  5. You must show proof of your completed Screening Form to a SHINE team member if we cannot find a record online. These are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY and any participants that have not filled it out adequately will be asked to fix it on the spot and/or sent home to participate via the livestream.

ENTRY PROTOCOLS

We have a 5 Step entry process. ONE person checks in at a time, even if you come with members of your household, you must check in separately.

  1. Hang your coat & take off outdoor shoes (if wet/dirty)

  2. Sanitize your hands

  3. Staff Check-In: double check Screening Form responses

  4. Take a clean bin for your belongings and follow directions to your square

 

III. CONSEQUENCES

Any individuals that are NOT strictly adhering to these guidelines may be asked to leave class immediately AND/OR prohibited from attending future classes. 

There are limited instructors and MANY participants so we are relying on you to hold each other accountable to a high standard of safety. 

REMEMBER: Attending class in-person is a privilege, not a right. 

 

 

IV. CLASS LIMITS

Outdoor Classes will be limited to 23 participants (not including instructors), as to adhere to the 25 person outdoor gathering limit. YOU MUST BOOK A SPOT ONLINE TO ATTEND!

Indoor Classes will be limited based on the space being used to ensure proper 6ft squares for each participant.

There will be a waitlist, and given the popular demand of classes over the past week, please SHOW UP if you book a spot out of respect to yourself, your instructors, and your fellow participants. Cancellation policy can be found here.
